Mr. Douglas Eugene Glover was born on September 19, 1970, in Hampton, Va. He was the second child of Charles McDouglas Glover and Marie Glover. He departed this life on January 3, 2008, in Richmond, Va. After graduating high school Douglas, enlisted in the United States Army Reserve, and served honorably for seven years. He attended Virginia State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 1995, and a Masters of Special Education in 2004.

Douglas’ fondness for youth led him to become a life long Educator and provider of treatment services. In 1999, he began his teaching career with Richmond Public Schools at Thompson Middle School. In 2005, he transitioned to Petersburg Public Schools, Vernon Johns Junior High School, as a Special Education Administrator, and re-entered the classroom to educate students with exceptionalities.

With great faith and persistence, Douglas created and became owner and director of New Haven Children Services, LLC. Phase one of his vision exists a group home for flourishing young men located in Richmond, Virginia. His most recent endeavor included the second phase of services designed to provide home-based family planning and treatment. With fervent prayer and nurturing, his professional goals and endeavors were divinely ordered to empower youth to become productive future leaders. >>>>
